Equipp is a marketplace for renting electronic gadgets across categories such as Laptops, iPads, Gaming consoles, Games and any other electronic gadgets as deemed fit by Equipp as a package or individual items by signing a personalized contract provided thereunder. The information contained in this Website and the personal information collected by using/ login and or accessing this Website is stored at a secured server. Equipp does not give any warranties regarding the policies or practices of the server operator. Equipp collects names, emails, and mobile numbers during the registration process and we do use cookies to understand our consumers better. This information collected will be disclosed to the users.

C. Cookie Policy

Each time you log into our Website or use our Product/Services, we will automatically collect Technical Data about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns. We collect this personal data by using cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, server logs, and other similar technologies. We may also receive Technical Data about you if you visit other websites or apps that employ our cookies. Cookies are pieces of electronic information which will be sent by Equipp for record-keeping purposes when you log onto our web site. These will be placed in your computer's hard disk and enable us to recognise you as a user when you visit us the next time ensuring to give you an easier and better experience when you return to our site. D. Collection/ Sharing of Information

You may register on our Website to avail our Products/ Services by furnishing ‘personal information’ viz., name, date of birth, phone number, billing and delivery address, PAN number, credit card details, UPI details, net-banking details, photographs, bank statement, DIN, GST registration number (if applicable) and any government photo identity card as permissible KYC document etc. We need this information to verify your identity, to contact you regarding your orders, to provide our Products/Services to you, to track your orders, to improve the user experience of our Website and platform, to send you information about offers brought out by Equipp, to update you of changes to our Products/Services and policies and to be in compliance of statutory requirements. We will only use your personal information to (a) provide our Products/ Services to you (b) to comply with legal obligations and will only use your personal data when the law allows us to.

You agree and acknowledge that by using our Services and by registering on our Website, you authorise us to contact you via email, phone, or otherwise and to use your personal information, as mentioned herein.

The personal information that you provide shall be true and correct and you will keep such information up-to-date, by intimating us of change in this information, if any. Upon termination of your contract with us or deletion of your account/registration with us, we will delete your personal information, upon expiry of statutorily mandated period for such record-keeping.

When we need to collect personal information by law, or under the terms of a contract and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract (for example, to provide you with the Product/Services). In this case, we may have to cancel or limit your access to the Product/Services.

Equipp does not share your personal information collected through our website with any external agencies or third party individuals, except for our KYC verification and credit check partner (M/s. Decentro Tech Pvt Ltd) and our digital credit infrastructure partner (FinBox). We have no control or influence over your credit score in any manner, with financial institutions.

We may collect, use, and share aggregated data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated data could be derived from your personal information but is not considered personal information under law as it does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. However, if we combine or connect aggregated data with your personal data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal data which will be used in accordance with this Policy.

We may, if requisitioned by law enforcement authorities by way of an order issued by a Court or Authority of competent jurisdiction disclose information, to enforce intellectual property rights, take action against fraud and other such crimes to help protect you and other users from harm. Without limiting the above, in an effort to respect your privacy and Equipp’s ability to assist in law enforcement, Equipp will not otherwise disclose your personal information to law enforcement or other government authorities without a direction from a Court of competent jurisdiction or such other similar legal procedural requirement, except when Equipp believes in good faith that the disclosure of information is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss or suspected illegal activity.

E. Online Payments

We have partnered with a secure and leading payment gateway ‘Billdesk’. The Website does not have the ability to interfere and does not interfere with the payment gateway mechanism. The Website has no access to the information that you may enter for making the payment through the payment gateway. Your transaction and banking details or other information as required for internet banking or other payment instruments is held by our payment gateway partner. Information relating to electronic transactions entered into via the Website is protected by encryption technology.

By creating a link to a payment gateway, we do not endorse the payment gateway, nor are we liable for any failure of products or services offered by such a payment gateway. Such payment gateway may have a privacy policy different from that of ours. All failures/ errors/ omissions of the payment gateway shall be solely on the payment gateway. You hereby consent that you shall not sue Equipp for any disputes that you may have with the payment gateway for any wrong-doing/lapse/omission or commission of the payment gateway.

Equipp works closely with fintech and credit agencies to indemnify them. We work with two companies called Decentro Tech Pvt Ltd (we use its KYC verification process and credit check process) and Finbox (we use its digital credit infrastructure and risk intelligence services). These two companies may in turn work with third party service providers to offer their services to Equipp. However, Equipp has no direct transactions with these third party service providers.

You shall be required to provide certain information, such as PAN card details, contact number, photographs, bank statements and DIN and company GST (if applicable) for the verification process by the above mentioned agencies. Further, Decentro requires customers to manually consent to certain conditions as stipulated during the process, however, Finbox has no such specific terms and conditions.

The information provided above is personally sensitive information (“Personal Information”) and is collected only for the purpose of verification of the identity of the user and for return of a new product.

F. Security

Equipp has in place all the necessary security mechanisms. We encrypt billing information online. All online transactions are done on a secure server (Billdesk) which offers the highest degree of security that the User’s browser is able to support. Personal information is accessible only by the designated and authorised personnel of Equipp who are bound to adhere to this policy. We deploy reasonable security practices and procedures. All personal information shared with Equipp, by you are collected, stored and handled in accordance with the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 as amended from time to time.

G. Grievances

If you have any grievances against our Website privacy practices, or are concerned that your privacy is compromised on our Website, please address your complaint/concerns to hello@equipp.in.

All disputes between us and you in this regard are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Bengaluru courts.
